We’re not your standard recycling team.
We at Crunchbot stand at the frontlines of the fastest developing technology food recycling has seen to date.

How exactly does Crunchbot operate?
We target industries that produce the largest quantities of food waste: Supermarkets, hotels and restaurants in Melbourne’s CBD. Every day, our Crunchbot collection bins are filled to the brim at these sites, which we then ship to our main processing facility.
Our Crunchbox automatically weighs and separates the food waste to be turned into compost or organic animal feed. Each processing cycle produces a general report that will be sent directly to our headquarters to record how much food waste was collected and where that waste is going.

1. Events and Campaigning: We will be setting up our own event-booths located at central locations around the CBD. Our customers will be able to engage with us and learn about our cause.
2. Research and Development : A portion of our funds will be used to further our organisation's research into effective technology, as well as continually developing our current machinery to a stage of greater efficiency.
